Established in 2008, by two brothers (Nischolan and Dinolan), in the little town of KwaDukuza, the practice initially focused on smaller projects ranging from additions and alterations, to as-built buildings and new houses. Ikigai Africa Group has grown significantly over the past 9 years, and now includes the Gauteng office in Johannesburg, as well as the original KwaDukuza office. In addition to residential design, the company has been commissioned on major commercial, industrial, educational, hospitality and healthcare projects and is currently engaged in several large residential dwellings and complexes, office buildings and mixed-use centers.
